THE HAPPY PATH

SHOPPING FOR INVESTMENT STRATEGIES

The challenge was to make people feel like they were investing in one single thing, even though every strategy had several financial products within it. The goal was to present enough information to inform decisions while keeping the design clean. So I've decided to use info cards with expandable affordanceto to tap into in-depth details of a strategy. The user has two choices: Let A.I. decide their allocation in a transparent way Choose their own allocation for each strategy

EDIT ALLOCATION

Signaling to users that they could edit their positions after investing was an important step to establish turst and get users to invest often. We've decided to use the same foundations used to invest initially on editing for consistency and predictability in the experience.

Expanding the experience with Limited Edition Investments

After introducing a pattern with strategy cards and introducing portfolio allocation users started to understand how they could diversify their strategies. We were ready to push a little more and work on enabling users to invest on more aggressive and fast-paced investments with ease with Thematic Trading. Our goal was to make thematic trading fun and exciting, so we've played with the collectibles concept of collectibles, where users could unlock exclusive strategies by investing consistently.

NEW DASHBOARD CONCEPT

With a new multiple-investing strategy in place the need to visually represent a multiple asset portfolio. I've created a concept where the user's portfolio is a sphere that contains multiple objects inside which are the investment strategies, and as the market is more or less volatile the sphere changes behavior from still to displaced.
